"As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace." (1 Peter 4:10)

A Christian steward is one who receives God's gifts gratefully, cherishes and tends them responsibly, shares them in justice and love and returns them with increase to the Lord. We invite you to consider the various opportunities available in our parish community where you can share the gifts of your time and talent here at Carmel Mission. We build the Kingdom of God when we put our gifts at the service of others. Prayerfully reflect where God is calling you to serve and respond by calling one of the contacts listed on this page.

       STEWARDSHIP PRAYER

Lord, Giver of Life and Source of our freedom,

We know that Yours is "the earth and its fullness;

the world and those who dwell in it."

It is from your hand that we have received

All we have... and are... and will be.

Lord, You call us to be stewards of Your abundance,

The caretakers of all You have entrusted to us.

Help us to use Your gifts wisely and share them generously.

May our faithful stewardship be the hallmark of your discipleship.

A visible sign of our commitment to Christ. Amen.
