Scripture Study

Join us for a study of the Gospel According to Mark beginning Thursday, June 10, 6:00 pm, Mac Mahon Center.

Whether you are a beginner or a continuing lover of Scripture, this is the class for you. We will explore Mark’s vision of Jesus—his life, ministry, death, and resurrection. We will also examine the history of the Bible—how it came to be, the different translations, and the Way Catholics read the Word of God.

Our Wednesday Scripture Study Resumes on June 23 with the study of The Acts of the Apostle.

All are welcome to join us as we learn how the excitement of Pentecost enlivens the early believers in their struggles to establish communities of faith—struggles surprisingly like those today. You will meet two of the early Church’s most significant leaders in the persons of Peter and Paul.
